Semple Stadium is the home of hurling and Gaelic football for Tipperary GAA and for the province of Munster. Located in Thurles, County Tipperary, it is the second largest GAA stadium in Ireland, with a capacity of 53,000. The ‘Old Stand’ of the ground (also known as the ‘Ardán Ó Coinneáin’) lies across from the ‘New Stand’ (‘Ardán Ó Riáin’) both of which are covered. Behind the goals are two uncovered terraces known as the ‘Town End’ and the ‘Killinan End’ respectively.

- 1500 lux sports lighting solution with switching to 700 lux
- 298 fixtures installed on 4no 45m columns and roof mounted brackets
New figures compared to prior technology:
- Energy consumption reduced by 55,000 kWh per year
- CO2 emissions reduced by 40 tonnes
